The current situation we are all facing are unprecedented times and we appreciate the continued support of our customers and staff during this challenging time.
In light of the announcement made by the Prime Minister, we have been forced to make the decision to temporarily cancel our upcoming STCW courses in the short-term, as per the advice of the Government and MCA and close the Academy to ensure the welfare of our staff and customers.
Our staff will continue to work remotely however, and therefore we will still be contactable during our usual office hours via email info@fireaid.com and telephone 01425 674390. For any urgent matters please email aimee.rowley@fireaid.com.
For those who wish to swap their course to a later date, Fire Aid is happy to accommodate this move at no additional charge (availability dependant) however, we must stress that during this continuously developing time we cannot currently guarantee an official date when we will be operating courses again from the Academy in Southampton. Please note that we are offering all of our booked customers 12 months credit (from date of original booking) to complete their course, so please rest assured that you have not lost any monies already paid.
Fire Aid’s STCW courses can still be booked now for courses required in the longer term, however please be aware that these may be postponed in line with ever-changing Governmental policy.
If a customer wishes to secure a place on a particular course date, then please notify us, and we will allocate you to this course date. If we discover that the same restrictions are in place then we will re-evaluate as we approach that course date, when we can either allocate the customer to different course date or place them on the credit list.
We will do everything in our power to run courses as soon as we have been advised that it is safe to do so, as we are keen to get back to normality. If necessary we will schedule additional course dates where possible in order to ensure all of our customers can attend their required courses in a timely manner. During this continuously developing time, we cannot currently guarantee an official date when we will be operating courses again from the Academy in Southampton.
