Fire Aid will deliver around 123 course places to around 41 personnel across the three-year period, as part of a regional plan, from its Hythe training academy. Courses include STCW FPFF updates and PSCRB (Proficiency In Survival Craft And Rescue Boats).
Chris Rowley, Fire Aid’s MD comments, “For many years Fire Aid has been the first choice of the global cruise sector and it is only in recent times that we are started to offer our solutions to the commercial marine and workboat sector. The training provided to crews is often replicative and therefore remains an essential component to the operations of any seagoing operation. We are delighted that Svitzer has chosen Fire Aid.”
