Fire Aid has secured a contract to supply Svitzer with maritime safety training solutions over a three-year period.
Since 1833, Svitzer has provided support at sea. Employing 4,000 staff and managing a fleet of more than 440 vessels and operations all over the world, Svitzer is the global market leader in the towage and related services sectors.
Svitzer operates in over 30 countries, delivering tailored solutions to clients, providing harbour, terminal and offshore towage, salvage and emergency response, as well as crew transfer and offshore installation supply. The business encourages a culture of safety, innovation amongst its employees.
Fire Aid will deliver around 123 course places to around 41 personnel across the three-year period, as part of a regional plan, from its Hythe training academy. Courses include STCW FPFF updates and PSCRB (Proficiency In Survival Craft And Rescue Boats).
